I have a nissan 350z and everytime I accelerate it makes a weird noise like its hitting sumthing has anyone ever had that or know what I should do?

ITook it to Sumone and they said the engine is bad

Like what?A engine knock?
How is your oil pressure?
Sounds like you are not too technical oriented.
When you took it to someone,what exactly did they say?
Why did they say it was "bad"?
How many miles on the car?

 

I think the engine is bad.

 

Its hard to explain .but everytime I hit the gas it's a sumthing like clicking noise and it keeps getting louder as a change gears . when I let off the gas it stops .
the guy I took it to didn't even look at it ijust showed him the noise and he said its the engine ?!!?

should I be replacing my engine?? Any places in SoCal where I can get it looked at ??

clicking while accelerating? That thingo ma bob in the rear axle.. whatever that thing is called. Yea that. That one right there. What is it like an LSD or something? No really I actually dont know for sure if thats actually what that is, or if its more than one part back there.. but I know if that **** clicks its bad. That place with the final drive gears in it.

Edit: I know I said I was leaving, but I am going to go ahead and refer to this as the "Rear End." The thingo ma bob I am referring to is what the rear axles connect to and the drive shaft as well. Commonly called a pumpkin by you silly kids. The only thing on a car I know that makes a clicking noise when you accelerate. I would have a real mechanical person poke this with a stick or whatever wizarding magic it is that they do.
