2004 350z will not turn over.... Please read.
ok so back ground on car.....
2004.5 350z auto. was fully built with twins. decided to part out and go back to stock. this is where all the fun starts...
I traded my built motor for a stock block. Motor was running fine prior to being taken out. I removed it from the other car. It was a manual car so I had to add the pilot bearing for a auto to the new motor. I installed everything on the new motor and went to go start the car and nothing. Just dims all the dash lights and makes a hum sound.
Things i have done so far.
1. took trans off and re installed drive plate again. I have the spacing plate first with rolling towards drive plate. reading teeth on plate in and drive teeth on outer towards trans. Tried to start again no luck.
2. I notice then that the motor will not turn by the crank pulley now either. I uninstalled the starter and the crank pulley would spin when turned again. So I then re installed the starter. the motor would spin freely again. went to go start the car and nothing. same dim then hum sound.
3. Put new battery in just in case. nothing. ....
I am at my wits end with this now. Has any one ever experienced this before..... God I should have bought a manual car !!!!!!!!!!! All i want to do is get it fixed so I can trade it in.
