Default What the hell is wrong

I got my 03, Z.
Drove it to Atlanta from Houston.
I noticed randomly the little red light on the left and under the dash would randomly flicker on and off; The radio head unit's light would also flash. I hear a soft tick almost like turning signals when the lights flash. The brake lights and the front hazard lights also flash.

This happens randomly on the road for a few seconds.
It happens almost every time I exit and lock the car or after filling up with gas.

Any suggestions? :/ Thanks

The BCM or IPDM both are computer module governing functions of the car double check fuses are good in both before taking it to a stealership.

Would these fuses be found in the fuse box I discovered near the battery?
Dealership is my last resort

There is are three boxes for fuses one in cabin by the dead pedal is where the BCM is. Two others are by the Battery. The IPDM that I mention is behind the battery so removing it is the only way to see/access it.

Good luck

Wow. It was actually an aftermarket alarm that was poorly wired in. Simply fix, just unplug and Bam.

Since you're here any ideas why the cabin overhead lights and sun visor lights will not work?

I'm assuming its a fuse, and the bulbs on the cabin lights seem fine. Any ideas?

Cool, glad it all worked out....the cabin lights not working is an issue I have as well. My fuse socket blows the fuse on contact. leading me to believe it may be the BCM module being shorted. In your case I would replace the fuse and bulbs just to rule them out. Then go from there....but if that doesn't work then it's the BCM.

keep me posted with what you find!
