Default 2 Summers in a Row, Freon pipe burst?

First time it happened was after driving 10 minutes on a really hot day, I just reconnected the pipe (Came apart where it connects so no actual damage was done) and recharged the AC and it worked fine.

The next summer it was 105 out and I get in my car and the 2nd I start it up the pipe burst again and had some smoke coming from the hood, freon everywhere, same problem.

Looking for a better solution this time, anyone know what I should do before taking it into the shop if anything?

Thanks.

Get a new fitting, your thread are probably sheered, or just weld it.

I'm thinking the pipe coming apart might be a separate incident, because it's intact this time, hmm.

I think the car might just be discharging coolant on really hot days, but why?

Last time I'll bump this thread, sorry just want another opinion here.

Lets say I don't have a heat shield for my pop-chargerish setup, could that be causing this?

If your losing coolant it won't be because you don't have the heatsheild for your pop charger.

My advice would be to replace the ac lines on each side of the splice where its blowing. Stripped threads under pressure become really stripped threads covered in (insert liquid here). Sure-fire advice is to do an AC delete and open the windows. You'll shave about 40 pounds and wont get freon everywhere.
