Urgent question about Throttle Valve Closed Postion Learning
Hey everyone, my question is about the procedure that is how to Throttle Valve Closed Postion Learning
1Make sure that accelerator pedal is fully released.
2Turn ignition switch ON.
3Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds
aMake sure that throttle valve moves during above 10 seconds by confirming the operating sound.
So in dumb terms that means I'm turning the key to the on position ( one before starting the car ) and then immediately turning the key directly back to off? That's all it involves or do I have to press the gas petal at any time or whatever for this vavle noise.
Reason I ask is I cleaned my throttle body a week ago and got a high idle code and then reset it and did the idle relearn and it worked good for couple days ten blame today I get the code again

Do all three procedures...

If it doesn't "stick", leave your battery disconnected overnight then do all three procedures again.
