Default Audio Problem! need help!

Hey Guys,

Here is the situation... All my speakers on the passenger side (door, tweeter and Rear) all are not working. The tweeter Is putting out a steady high pitch sound, I had to turn the radio completely off because it was annoying!

Here is the thing, I don't think It is the speakers, they still are getting power and work. when I go to the settings (fading, balance ect.) and scroll through them the "beeping" sound does come out from the speakers on that side. and the fact the tweeter is producing that high pitch sound.. 24/7. The speakers are still getting power and working, just not playing any music.

I dont have really any Audio experience. I don't know if I fried part of the head unit, or if the AMP is bad, or If it might be a possibly Wiring issue. Before I tear everything apart I would like to try to have it narrowed down to something.

Also I have NO clue where the AMP is located in the car...

If anyone has seen anything like this before I would really appreciate it.

The car is a 03 touring with the 6CD changer. Everything is Stock.

thanks in advance for the help!

check the ground or fuse. High pitch noise is usually ground.

noone has anymore ideas?

I was just at a audio shop and they basically said the Bose/Nissan system is not compatible with any aftermarket parks.

I am looking at $700 to replace the head unit/speakers... over over $1000 to replace the everything including the Amp and factory sub.

It is a common HU problem on 350z. Try use a search button, you will find plenty of the info. The best bet if you want to keep everything stock - get a used HU from the marketplace. There is a lot of them out there for sale because everybody trying to get rid of that crap anyway.
