Default Driver's seat moves, clunks.

I've got an 07 Enthusiast that I bought used about 6 months ago. No mods.

Recently there is a clunking noise and maybe a slight movement in the driver's seat with cornering, particularly at slow speeds.

I did a search and there was a reference to this problem but no discussion or solutions.

I have not had time to work on it. Just wondering if anyone else has had and/or fixed this problem. Seats are cloth/manual. Thanks.

Edit: trying to reproduce the problem by shifting around in the seat or pushing it does not work.

The first thing I'd check is to make sure all of the bolts are tight. 4 bolts: one in each corner.

I was under the impression that this was solved in the 06+ Z's but you might want to reference this thread anyway:

It used to annoy the hell out of me but now I don't even notice it anymore after I went with an aftermarket exhaust and HFC's

I don't think it is the mounting bolts because I can't make it clunk or move by trying to move the seat around. It is only when cornering or sometimes when hitting a bump. Of course no harm on checking and giving them a little crank.

Waizzz, thanks for the link. I'm going to take a look under the seat this weekend but in that thread they say they are getting a squeak. What I've got sounds like a clunk and you can feel it more or less under the seat.

Anyway, if it doesn't get any worse I can live with it. I have not noticed it while at the track. If it gets worse and I can't find the problem them it seems like a perfect excuse to put a racing seat in.
