i was driving home last night and the z just died on the freeway. while waiting for the wrecker i found out that my 140amp fuse off my battery had blown. i got the new part on the way but i was wondering if anyone else had this issue. thanks

 

Yeah, i'd say other people have had a fuse blow before....


Replace it, see if it blows again.

 

^Screw that, a 140 amp fuse just doesn't blow.

Test for a short to the chassis. Were you on the gas hard? Starter/alternator may have shorted out.

Test the wiring before you just up and replace a fuse so casually.

 

Eh, maybe, maybe not, they're there *to* blow, might have just gone. But i agree checks are worth it, basics etc.
