Default Body control module issue

Here's the story: my tail lights, parking lights, side markers, license plate lights, and trunk lights were not going on. I took it (03 350z) to a local garage hoping it was just a fuse issue. They called me today saying that the fuses are fine and it's a problem with the body control module and told me I had to go to the dealership. When I heard that I had to go to the dealership all I though about was $$$$. Well anyway, does anyone know if it just needs to be reprogrammed or if it's a problem that's going to cost money? (On my receipt it says "NO TRIGGER TO PARK LT RELAY..CK BODY COMPUTER CODES..YES CAN NETWORK COMMUNICATION FAILURES.. NEED TO GO TO DEALER")

Yes, the BCM along with the IPDM are modules that control function and hold fuses. You can purchase the parts yourself and have the dealer reprogram it match your keys. So prevent crazy labor charges I would buy the module first then take it to the dealer an request only to install and program it.

I am to do the same as my car has hiccups every so often.

Also I believe my low jack was poorly install. Wires where twisted not solderd. Either way buying them used might cut back on cost but then again that another can of worms.

So it's not just a recoding/reprogramming issue? I need to buy a new one?

Maybe so seeing something is blown in the module since all the fuses are good says the shop!
