Default Headlight not working

I installed hid's they worked fine for a few days then I noticed the passenger side is no longer working. Drivers side is fine. Everything else is fine turn signal high beam ect still works. Does anyone have a diagram to the full wire for low beam on passenger side? Are both lows on the same fuse or relay? What could be the problem? I'm thinking somthing broke on the wire as I'm getting no voltage to passenger low beam only.

Have your fender liners been removed?

In that case my guess is you ran over a puddle and burnt out your ballast. The housings arent fully sealed, so its a matter of time before water gets in there. Shop for a used ballast in the marketplace, and put the fender liners back on.

I put a new set in from a buddy's car. And it still does not work. As I said. There is no voltage coming from the wire.

Check the FSM for the wiring schematics. Maintenance and Repair section of the Tech forum.

Yep, this question comes up alot, every owner with issues doesnt have the inner fenders, its pointless to help unless your install new fender liners right now

I was thinking the same thing. But the no voltage part is throwing me off.

Another non-working HID lo-beam due to the fender liner not being replaced thread. I've seen 3-4 of these in the past 2 months.

Are these OEM or aftermarket? That will make a difference too. Check your fuses.

So does the z have it's one fuse for each side low beam? Or its own relay? Or is it shared? Because drivers side is working fine.

Yes, separate fuses. Open up your owner's manual, then open up your hood and look at the fuse box. Pretty simple.

I read though my owners manual but couldn't find the one your talking about. I'll check again for the fuse box diagram.

Have you tested for voltage going into the ballast with a test light or volt meter? You just want to be sure that the power wire going into it has no power. If so I believe there are a left and right fuse as well as a master relay or fuse. Since the other side is working fine the master should be fine and it may more than likely just be the one sides fuse. Also like everyone else has said the fender liner would help out a lot to not burn out that ballast as they can easily burn out once they get wet.

Thanks,
Dallin

Thank you. That was the answer I was looking for. I thought it only had a master for both but I located the other box behind the battery and it's a blown fuse. Thanks for the help. I'll look around for fender liners so it doesnt happen again. Just hope I get enough air flow to the dual intakes located near the wheel well. I think that's why the prior owner removed them. But once again thanks for actually answering my question.

Question for all those wiring masters!!
My driver side turn signals isn't working, I have put a test light and it's getting power. Also ran a new ground. Have also tried the following:
Swapping light bulbs from each side
Switching wiring harness (one harness is from a depo light so the two connections in the inside aren't the same but everything else is)
Checking each wire for tears.
The only thing I haven't tried is a volt meter to test if it's getting 12v but I will check tomorrow.

I switched my fuse for my light cause my driver high and low beam weren't working and then they worked for 30 minutes or so and the it dimmed some, then went out. I have a hid low beam and normal high beam
