Pre-ordered, delivered in October 02

6,500 miles

My windows stay wet too, (is that the grease issue? I assumed it was).

I had the amp replaced and it helped a tiny bit.

I hit a stretch of highway and bounced until I almost got sick

no feathering yet

cracked seat bolster - waiting

Nothing really to complain about so far. I'm nervous that I'm going to get feathering when i get more miles. COnsidering I garage her a lot it could be another year before I get to that point.

Default None

14,120 miles.
17 months old

Zero problems.
(I don't consider washing my semi-greasy windows a problem)

Default No problems

I have about 13,000 miles on mine with no feathering, rattles, or any other serious problems. I do have grease marks but I won't bother getting it fixed due to every else's air noise problems after they have had them fixed.

I do have one potentially serious problem- the clutch chatters when warm and starting in first gear and the engagement travel is like a light switch. I will check the archives to see if others have had the problem.

3500 miles 2003 and only 2 rattles. Debating whether to fix myself or let the dealer do it since it's a TSB...
My windows are a little sluggish going down now (when opening door) so that could be an impending issue.

IF YOU CONFIRM: A mark or streak of grease on the inside of the door glass after the window has been lowered and then raised. ACTIONS: Remove the door window regulator module assembly. Replace the original glass "stabilizer" felt with the new pieces from the Stopper Kit. See this bulletin for further detail.

5600k miles and no problems. I have noticed the oil streak on my windows though but i don't really see it as a problem. My 350Z would run doughnuts around the car that i traded in for it(2000 Honda Prelude SH w/h 6800k miles on it). No complaints here.

2003 Track model 350Z.
White with a base model interior.
5600k miles.( approx. )
Currently, no modification.
Oil changes every 3000 miles.( well, twice since i got the car and another at 6000K. I did purchise the car used though with 1900K miles on it.)

You got 6.8 million miles out of a Prelude and you did this in a couple of years? Very impressive. If it was a 350Z that would mean that you would have had to replace the front tires 1,360 times in those 2 years. Sorry, that typo was just crying out for some comic relief.

~9500 miles, 2003 silverstone base delivered in April of 03

No problems save the grease strip. I love my car , although all this talk of tires and transmissions is a little worrisome. I think the tires on the 18's might be the root of the problem, as i've heard less about the 17's, and i believe i got mine late enough so as to avoid the tranny problem. I'm going to give my baby a thorough going over next time i drive her, just to make sure she's in good health.

******** who rip nissan logos off the back of 350's with keys should have their eyeballs ripped out with keys.(happened to me last week)

03 Track, ordered in March delivered June 6th. just over 6000 miles before winter set in.

I have not had any of the problmes dicussed on this site.

I have noticed two specific streatches of the freeway that will induce intense bouncing but other then driving through those 2 areas I have not had the ride problmes some have talked about.

20K+mi. No major problems.
Just about all have the window grease when new. I did as well.
Swapped front tires per TSB at 19K to take care of feathering, all OK.
Alot of us have the gas cover stick from time to time, don't consider it a problem.

Delivered 9/11/20. Have 7,300 miles on Super Black Performance 350Z. Have had no problems with car. No mechanical or tires issues. Did have the window streaking but appears to be going a way as the car age's. I am really happy and love the car.

Take it in to the dealer and give them the tsb # and they will install the improved amp. My 03 was built in the last 03 build month and it had the bad amp, do it you can tell the difference. Plus it's free.

I've only had mine for 700 miles or so (bought used, now has approx. 9K miles). No problems other than a slight grease mark, so slight I don't care, and the bouncy highway drive (which I would like to get fixed). Otherwise, I'm not sure if the original ower did anything to it or not.
