Does the "G" count in this survey? I've had mine for 13 months now, a 6MT. It hasen't been back to the dealer since the day I bought it. No Problems, Nada, none.

Bought my enthusiast (white) in October 2003. It's a 2004 model. No problems at all. The window streak marks only happen after I wash the car. - I try not to roll down the windows until it dries. Considering I only have 2600 miles I must say it is too early to tell whether I would get the tire feathering problem or the common tranny problems. So far the car has been great. Though my local dealer sucks. - Classic Nissan of Orlando. I took her in for her first oil change back in January 2004 ( I only had 1400 miles then) and I had to wait 2.5 hours (with appointment). Also found some grease spots on the doors after I got her back.

I agree about the time for an oil change. It takes my dealer 2 hours and thats with me setting up an appointment. At least they wash it But for $30 they should wash it.

i have a 04 enthus. z cs at. i have 2200 miles on it and no real problems except for the grase streaks , which i must say is very insignificant, i read about all the problems people had with the streaks, i thought it was dark thicks sludgy streaks, but they are clear and barely noticible unless you look for them.deal with it, better than owning an american car. z's rock

its sad to see the small amount of people who have NO problems with their Z's. cars now a days suck! they come with better warrenties every year simply becuz every year the car f's up more. the only car i have owned that has yet to have a single problem since i bought it is my 97' jeep wrangler and i beat the **** out of it!

01' my S2000:
3k miles Tranny/ Clutch 1 -warrenty
6k miles Tranny /Clutch 2 - warrenty
8k miles Tranny / Exedy Hyper Single- warrenty (except clutch)

02' my RSX-S:
10k miles drivers seat- warrenty
11l miles SRS computer- warrenty
13k miles Tranny/Clutch - warrenty
22k miles Tranny Clutch- warrenty

97' Toyota Supra:
73k miles Full Rear-End Rebuild 7000$

97' Jeep:
NOTHING

Z:
7k miles Drivers Seat - warrenty
7k miles Front tires- warrenty

as to why i had all my clutches and tranny go on all my h0ndas, synchros failed in 2nd gear. the clutches in honda are more then 1inch small in diameter yet the clutches are asked to handle high amounts of power. they cant and they slipped. the increased heat caused the synchros to fail and causes the trannys to fail all together. if i ever buy another honda again which will be soon (07' NSX), first things i will replace is the clutch, the second it comes home. stock clutches blow!

auto's are boring to drive, IMO. Also with a MT i have more control of my car and i like to have the extra security.

Default window streaks

I know what you mean. I took mine to the dealership and they ordered some type of kit to install. It didn't get rid of it completely, but it decreased the amount. Oh, and it should be covered under warranty. I didn't have to pay.

2003 Touring, build date was November 2002. Currently have about 30,500 miles. Problems:

1. Window streaks- never got it fixed
2. Tire Feathering- No problem since I got aftermarket rims and tires
3. Passenger side window motor seized
4. Had a clicking noise when quickly accelerating/decelerating in the rear tire area. They say they tightened the subframe, no more problems as of yet.

That's it. All in all I am very happy with the Z.

john it is clear by your post that you treat the cars like 2 dollar hookers. that is why you have so many problems. I have a RSX-s 2002 with 34K miles on it and not one factory defect. cluctch is holding strong, even after I used to drag it, until I realized it was too slow to race. FWD and 200hp make for 14 sec 1/4 miles runs.

trust me you will grow out of it. someday......

your clutch may be holding up fine in your case. but seeing as the honda clutch are nearly one inch small in diameter than the conventional clutch, it was clear to me that hondas clutchs blow. both clutches of mine failed too soon for it to be driver error. also the car was neevr taken to the track, although i raced it quite a few times on the street. who knows really. my s2000 continuelly failed becuz the clutch was on recall. after driving the Z and driving my S (with stock clutch) i can just feel the difference in how the clutch grabs. the S2000 clutch hesitates to grab while the Z clutch grabs all day long.

anyways, no complaint with my Z tranny or the Exedy Hyper Sindle Clutch on my S2000. The Exedy clutch is by far the smoothes and hardest grabbing clutch i have yet to use.
