Electrical interior light problem
Hi, just picked up my 03 Touring tonight, and have noticed some issues that need addressing. Here's a strange one maybe someone can help with:
No overhead coutesy or vanity mirror lights. However, the trunk light works!
I checked the fuse, it's fine and getting power, checked with a test light. Pulled the strangest looking bulb ever in the courtesy light, not getting power in the housing. Pulled the lens off the vanity lights, not getting power either.
Yes, the key was on acc, the doors open, the switch set to "door".
Any words of wisdom? Thanks.

Just an update for anyone searching and finds this post. Reset the BCM module by opening the doors, disconnecting the neg batt terminal for 5 minutes, re connect neg, close doors, it works!!! Wonder how long the prior owner lived in the dark?
Thanks for your great posting. Picked up my '04 today, after almost a year in storage, with the same dead interior and vanity mirrors lights. After checking too many fuse boxes, I found your posting and now all is well. How did you figure out this fix-it's not very intuitive?
