clutch pedal feels loose
my car has been sitting in the shop for couple days for doing some repairs. The owner says he could help me replace the shift **** for free, so I let him do it for me. And after I got my car back, I feel the pedal is kinda loose than before. I wonder is it possible that the air went into the clutch line or they mess up my clutch slave/master cylinder something like that while replacing the shift ****?It could also be my wrong feeling since I drove my friend's 03 350z for couple days during the repairs. And the clutch pedal of 03 is much stiffer than 06 one, so I might get used to the stiffer pedal and gives me the loose feel on my car now.
Except the loose feel, the gears shift as them before, so nothing wrong with gears.
so basically, which one do you think the most possible answer is?
a) the shop messed up my clutch line/cylinders while replacing shift ****.
b) Clutch line/cylinders are not related to a simple shift **** replacement job, so I must be get used to my friend's stiffer pedal feel.
Thanks for answering guys
I would also check my fluid level as soon as I have time.

when you check the fluid make sure you take off the top and actually look into the canister.
my pedal was giving problems, I popped the hood and it "looked" full. had a friend who is a mechanic stop by, he took the top off the canister and it was bone dry. fluid had stained the inside and made it appear to be full. I should've known this cause it is the second time it has happened to me now on two different cars.
anyways, ends up my slave cylinder is gone.
