hey guys haven't posted in a long time, but need some experience Z guys. So my Z wants to die when I start up. Doesn't matter if it's the first time starting it or if I have been running it all day. When I first start it up it will go down to 400rpms then studder a little then go back into idle. Just started today. Ran the car last night at willow springs drags. Checked vacuum hoses and didn't find anything. I was thinking maybe fuel pump? I can make a video if it helps

 

Assuming no CEL? How long has it been doing this?

 

No CEL that's why I'm thinking its a fuel problem. It just started today. Been paying attention to the rpms while I'm driving and if I go up to 3k then depress the clutch it will the rpms will drop down to 500 then back to 800

 

Air filter clean?

 

You haven't done anything to car lately right?

Try cleaning the MAF sensor?

 

Filter is clean and nothing has been done to the car lately. Went to the drags yesterday then this morning I ran into this problem. Power seems fine when I get on it so that kinda eliminates the fuel filter idea. If I start it and give it a little Rev then it will stay at 800 but then turn it off and back on we will get the sputtery on start up. Really has me confused. Ill try cleaning the maf tomorrow
