Default shifter stuck in gear!! Help!!

Ok long story short I was in Cali and my car lost 5th an 6th while gettin on the highway. Felt as if they were in neutral if u tries shifting in them. Well I had to go home so I left it in Cali for 3 months. Come back to trailer it home and now the shifter feels as if its in neutral and the shifter won't move front to back whatsoever, only side to side. I then found out its also stuck in 6th but stick feels as if its in neutral. After gettin it on the trailer it miraculously gets stuck in neutral now. Any ideas what's the problem? I'm thinking shift linkage but haven't had time to get under the car. Plus I gotta find out how to even remove the shift linkage lol

LOL, wow looks like a bucket of melted gold. At least used tranmissions aren't too expensive.
