Default Seat belt tensioner wiring

Just had a new system installed and now my airbag light is flashing. Ran diagnostics and came up with code 8 for passenger side seat belt tensioner. Pulled panels off to check wires and found out that the wires had been cut and then spliced back together. I'm pretty sure this is my problem but don't have much experience in this area. Also I tried an airbag light reset and it does nothing. Can some one with more knowledge please help me with this. Thanks!

Sounds like a bad splice, the system tests off resistance. A bad splice will have a higher resistance , maybe even no resistance if it's completely open.

Open would be infinite resistance. Short would be no resistance

Op just have it resoldered. Im aure the connections were correct if its just now becoming an issue. They probably just got loose over time with whatever method they were rewired.
