Your engine is showing the early signs of Auto Alzheimer's. The first sign is not sensing short term driver inputs. Next it's going to poop itself.

mine started doing that... changed the clutch to a new one
that was supposed to be an stage2.. after 6-7 months it was doing the same thing
the mechannic said it was cause the previous clutch had messed up the flywheel...

i can recomend you... based on my own experience.. to buy the good stuff and both
the cutch and the flywheel... i mean if you are going to buy a new clutch dont buy the
cheap ones on ebay... look for an ACT clutch and the ACT flywheel...

you can get them both for like around 1000.. and also WHATEVER YOU DO please dont forget to replace the 350z Clutch Pivot Ball... with the new clutch regardless of what you do... the OEM pivot ball bolt is not as strong as needed for the job with aftermarket clutchs...

so bottom line... i had a bad clutch.. bough an exedy stage 2... 6 months later it was dong the same thing.. mechannic said.. flhyheel... and recommended the pivot ball changed.. i did and bought ACT and now its great

not sure if it has been mentioned yet... but the clutch needs replacement

Throw in a nice lightweight fly wheel while you're at it, as mentioned on the above post.

i know you havent really gotten any help here in your thread but possibly you might need a new clutch

bonus:
i think if i had it open i would also replace the flywheel, then the master cylinder, and slave cylinder to have a brand new setup

Just a shot in the dark here, but I'm guessing your clutch is going out. If that isn't it, then it must be the clutch. If you check that and it's good too, then it's probably your clutch.

The single best mod I ever did to my 04 Enthusiast was a lightweight flywheel. I went with a Fidanza and just an OEM replacement clutch. The car was so much more fun to drive after that.

it's a bad clutch. it's slipping pretty bad. You might want to upgrade your clutch

don't buy a new factory clutch from the dealer like most ignorant people do, you can save yourself a lot of money by buying a better clutch for half the price of what they want for OEM.
