Default Dome lights only work manually

Hey guys, I've searched around but my problem seems to be a little different from what others have had.

I replaced my dome lights with LED's a while back and everything worked fine. Recently I noticed that they no longer turn on when you open either door, however if you manually click them on they work great.

Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

And no I do not have them switched off.

Thanks

Well, there is power getting up there to them, so that isn't the issue. Logically the next thing to check would be the pressure switches in the door jams.

But, I'd start with putting the dome-light switch in its middle position.

Thanks for the reply,

Can you think of any reason why both switches would go out at the same time? I worked in a dealership parts department for years and was constantly selling the door jam switches but never two at a time.

Both door jam switches going out at the same time would be extremely unlikely.

Try to reset the BCM,

- Open both doors.
- Disconnecting the neg battery terminal for 5 minutes.
- Re connect the battery.
- Close the doors.
