Hey guys I've had this EVAP leak for quite few weeks now, and I feel my car as if it has a loss of power especially on the acceleration. Also it smells has a very strong smell of gas once I turn the car on a cold start. And now I've noticed this sound (hissing) coming from right under my driver side behind the seat. My main question is can this code cause the car to have a loss of power. Thank you for your time.

 

Never heard of evap causing powerloss. Hissing should be coming from the right rear. Trace the sound to whereever it is. Could be a cracked vacuum line or the evap box itself.

 

i have a small leak evap sensor CEL light on . it came on after i got my new exhaust . and yes it feels like i lost ALOT of power expecialy on my acceleration
