Default Fuel issue after stock motor swap.

Alright guys i need some help here, a few months black i blew the engine on an 03 350z with a powerlab kit on it (rod snapped). Now i dropped a new engine + trany + harness + ECU in it from an 04 G with last letter vin A. Go to fire it up, the engine turns and cranks but wont fire up. I open up the fuel line and it is absolutely dry, had 1.5 gal gas in the tank but the fuel meter wouldn't register any. So i went and bought a new sender unit, still no life, finally broke down and bought the full hitachi fuel pump assembly and still nothing. Ive added another 1.5 gal of gas totaling to 3 gallons. Fuel meter functions now which means its getting some power, but still doesnt fire up. The line was checked for kinks where it is visible and no kinks could be found. Still stays dry at the other end, does anyone else know what else i could check/troubleshoot? or any ideas?

Thank you in advance.

your next move should be to replace your line. and inline filter, also polarity of your fuel pump hook up and fuse of pump

Did you pull the fuel pump fuse before removing the motor? Typically you do that and then crank the motor to relieve pressure in the line. I recently just swapped in a stock 04+ motor. I made a mental note to not forget that I pulled the fuse...
