Default new 350z owner needs help with strange sound?

recently bought a 08 350z with close to 60k miles

has a sport clutch according to dealer and i spoke with the original owner and he spoke highly of the clutch

but personally i feel ive ruined it in the 3 weeks ive owned the car.
I drove it a state away and had a 6 hour ride after picking it up and didnt notice any real issues
clean carfax and one owner

i have to simply Touch the clutch it seems to allow it to engage or disengage
i have to push to the floor to start the car

before i get to the point
it will stall when im in first, but if i come out on the clutch ever so slightly it will begin to move and then stall and come back to where it was

if im on an incline and slowly let the clutch out while moving from gravity it will start to move and chug some and continue to move
instantly stalls in 5th
and the mash test at 40-50 the rpms didnt rise they stayed where they were and raised with the speed of the car

second gear it will seem like its about roll and then stall
if i dump the clutch in first which i did when i thought i turned the car off and let the clutch out quick it stalls instantly and jerks like i broke the car
and i have stalled several times since i used to drive a 6 speed jeep which was a broken in old car that is a 180 in comparison

but the issue im having is every now and then when im trying to get it to start rolling at a low rpm it will make a "squeaking" but if i let the clutch out quick when it happens it jerks and the sound stops, i assumed it is from riding the clutch and it doesn't happen if im over 2k rpm from a stop, it doesnt happen all the time. it seems like its a user error but being so new to a sports car im unsure if it is my fault or the car.
the other sound is similar to my friends xterra with the hr engine, and its when its under 1-1.5k rpm it makes like a diesle sound. like a heavy duty truck makes. sounds like im at to low of an rpm or something.

when im running it i dont notice "lack of power"

i have gotten it to have no sounds and it seems like its going perfect, but its always when im on the clutch to long after gasing it.
i just really dislike the clutch being so on or off. it has no real in between it seems

ive driven a stock 04 that had more leeway it seems. it engaged slowly

this car is more of a recreation which i plan to use to move in soon out to LA

any help is appreciated, and yes i know to use the search feature but its difficult to find what im looking for given i dont know really what how to word my issue other that "bad clutch"?

i just did some tests and didnt notice the sounds when im driving the car heavier
its only when im trying to be a gas conserving tree hugger

so being a sports car am i supposed to always drive it like a sports car?
fast and hard?
or is trying to baby the car a bad idea?

Is this your first experience with a manual transmission? You have to push the clutch pedal to the floor to start because there is a switch to keep you from starting the car when in gear. That has been on all manual transmission cars since 1969 (I think that was the year that feature was required). It just seems you need more practice driving the Z.

I agree with ^^^. It took me a good minute to get a hang of the way the clutch engaged and disengaged on the Z..I was always used to my S13 wich was stronger due to the stage 4 clutch in it..you'll be okay..just practice with it..
