Purchased this liquid-based tint applied to headlights last year, decided to use the remover and take it off today due to chipping and cracking overtime...bad idea. All sorts of spots and residue on the headlights, tried goo-gone, soap and water, etc nothing removes this stuff. Did some research on headlight restoration saw alot of threads about sanding and polishing back to new but these DIY were all for older headlights with fog/discolor, would say the 3M headlight restoration kit be what I'm looking for to get my headlights back to good quality?

 

Post a picture? I suppose it would be worth trying. I would do it in a small test area and see how it turns out before going for the whole headlight.
