Unhappy Cam position sensor

This is the second time I have had a cam position sensor go bad on me sinceI have owned my 350 (a little over a year now). Both times it has been the exact same code -- P0345 (Cam Position Sensor, Bank 2). How often do these sensors go bad?

Are replacing the sensors with OEM parts or,generic aftermarket?
I know several owners that had to replace sensors bought at
the usual auto parts places--Auto Zone etc.
I alway use Nissan parts when it comes to things like sensors.
Cost more...yes,but its worth the price.

I replaced with the OEM sensor from my local dealership. The thing that really sucks is that both times it has been the driver's side, and that is the side that is a PITA to get to.
