Default Front "plastic" ticking sound

Hey, I noticed when my car starts to roll, I hear a ticking sound from my front left side near the wheel. The ticking increases when it goes around 20-30mph and stops at 60+mph.

The ticking doesn't sound like metal banging against each other. More like I ran over plastic and it's just making a plastic ticking sound.

I checked my torque specs on the wheels and it was fine. Checked to see if there is a nail or plastic and it was clean. Also checked just under the car and I couldn't find anything.

I haven't taken out the wheel to inspect it further. Just curious if anyone has any input on what I could check. Thanks!

Edit: Just took out the wheel and couldn't find the suspect. The ticking does not make a noise when the car is idle. Lastly, when the car is off, the ticking is still there when I roll it.

Sounds really dumb, but is there a rock stuck in your tire tread? It would make a similar "ticking" sound.

EDIT - just re-read your post; when you say you checked for nails/plastic were you referring to the tires?

If it's not a rock, then put your car up on a jack and inspect your wheel bearings by grabbing the tire at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock and rock it back and forth. There should be no play. Then rotate the tire. There should be no sound, but if there is any play or sound is coming from the hub area, then you have a bad bearing and it'll need to be replaced.

Check your bushings for wear as well and make sure all of the suspension bolts are torqued to spec.

It would really help if you listed the mileage on the car, the condition of the tires, brakes, or any other info that could be pertinent to the issue (including modifications to the suspension, recent work done, any accidents you've been in, even if you recently curbed your car - all of that info is really useful).

Man I've got the same issue. I don't know what it could be . I thought once I took it to Nissan they could figure it out. Charged my $320 to re grease the axles and noise is still there.

the clearance between the rotor, and the clip for the brake pads is pretty tight, if you have any corrosion on the rotor, it could be contacting, or a rock could have bent the tang closer on the clip...

Just for clarification, since I kind of have the same issue coming from my rear dr side wheel, the Axle Click TSB issue should only occur at acceleration from stops right? I have a faint sporadic ticking back there during acceleration, cruising at low speed, turns, and going into reverse. Don't want to grease the axles if I don't need to.
