im having the same issue right now, code rough idle. i took my plugs out and they looked horrible for my low mileage z.
im going to get new plugs and see what happens.

so after i replaced coilpack number 5, everything is good. i think the reason why a bad coilpack caused multi-cylinder misfire is because the unburnt fuel is dumped into the engine making the ecu think it's from multiple cylinders. at first i kept on getting P0300 but every time the SES light came on i checked the code and finally got P0305. so i got to work on that cylinder and found out it was the coilpack.

my coil pack is bad on #1, it responds sometimes when i unpluged it on idle. I was getting some liquid spitting out of the exhaust as well when i rev it up.
what brand is good to get are the autozone, amazon rockauto brands okay to run with?
