350z issue, average inHg rate?
Long story short, my car has rough idle and a loss of power unless WOT. It's an 06 engine with an 03 ECU.
Recently, I hooked up my car to my scanner and found a MAP reading 1500+ inHg. I've never seen or heard of this kind of reading.
After checking with the great god google. I'm still a little puzzled about what this reading so be around on a stock Z.
My questions, what should my MAP reading be? Is this the source of my issues? Can this be an issue because the 06 engine has a significantly larger intake plenum compared to the 03 engine? Could this all be ECU related? Should I buy a new 06 ECU? Do I have any more questions? Will I ever end???
Find out in the next post.
Ah, before its said. I tried to contact uprev about tuning my car. They said my issue shouldn't exist with the (minor) mods I have and they won't tune out issues like mine.

if you have uprev you dont have a map sensor, only way you have one is if you are running a haltech or something similar with a built in one or wired one into a aftermarket ecu. it stands for manifold absolute pressure and is usually used to measure vacuum and that rating simply isnt possible in an engine. thats over 730 psi
no clue how your scanner could possibly display that but its lying to you.
