Help car heats up fast and really bad
I just installed a new clutch in my car but i took apart the whole drivetrain. As soon as I got it back on the road it started making a rubbing noise. As I accelerated it sounded faster and as I slowed down the noise would slow down too. When this happens the temperature of the engine peaks. anyone have an idea of what this could be?
did you adjust the clutch too tight? or possibly too loose?
if it stalls or the rpms drop a bit when in idle, then obviously too tight.
If you do a hard pull in 1st or 2nd gear to 6k rpms. keep an eye on your needle. if its irregular and you notice a sudden change in sound...too loose.
And you completely took apart your drivetrain???
