Default 350z Wont Start At Times, Help!

So I have a 2003 350z. Randomly a week ago I went to start it and turned the key. It made a "click" and didnt start. Turned it again and nothing, no sound. Third time, no sound. Closed the door, hit the lock button, hit unlock, turn the key and a "click", turn it again and nothing.
I came back to it an hr later and it started just fine.

Ever since I have been having the same issue. It wont start and then it randomly starts 2-20 tries later after hitting lock/unlock. Any idea what this might be?

Thanks

any CEL light???? CPS would delay the start of the vehicle to about 3 seconds and will throw a CEL or SES light in my case.

If it randomly dies on you, then it's this.

my past experienced with similar issues to your with my other cars was the starter solenoid contact. Best and make life easier is to replace the starter. when the selenoid contact is wore out it will have a bad contact from the ignition switch line to the starter solenoid. hope this help.

I had the EXACT same issue with mine a year ago. The car would click and not start, after multiple tries, still would not start. Then I left it alone for an hour, came back to it and it started. It would start most of the time but every few days it would do this. I work at a dealership so I had a service techician look at it and he said my battery had a bad cell, so I bought an optima yellowtop battery, car starts strong everytime now.
