Default Clutch adjustment issue

This is my first post here.

I got my Z a couple days ago and knew I was going to adjust the clutch from the time I started test driving my options. I followed some directions I found here and adjusted it 4 turns lower. It was too much because the pressure plate wasn't pushing the pedal all the way back up. I went 2 turns back and had the same issue. I went one more turn back and the pressure plate seems to be pushing it back all the way and the clutch isn't slipping. It's only one turn lower than before, but is still really high compared to all other cars I've driven. 4 turns put the clutch pedal 1/3 of an inch below the brake pedal.

What do I do? Without buying a new clutch assembly.

What do you do? Adapt.

I drive the 350Z plus my daily. It's not difficult to drive my Jeep low and get into the 350Z really high...
