so, after searching threads I found a lot on shaking shifters and that its normal for rwd. but. Everything I read was referring to manual trans. anyone have an auto?
my auto shifter shakes BAD when going 70+.
help??

03 touring. it is going in for an alignment on Friday, could the alignment being off cause the shifter to shake? the wheel doesn't shake at all. even going 120mph

 

I don't know much about autos but maybe the transmission mount is bad?

Check for an imbalance in the drive shaft. Could be a missing balance weight, if there ever was one, or a bad universal joint.
