Default power steering whining?

So just swapped out the stock power steering hoses with some Z1 hoses. Now after the car warms up I'm getting a bad whining noise when I turn the wheel. Any idea what's up. I didn't loose very much fluid on the swap out and even topped it off with some more. To much maybe?

Maybe air in the system? How many miles, days ago did you do the swap?

Ok I'll give that a whirl, also swapped out the PS Tank with a Weapon R tank and they don't have the fluid lines. But when I pulled the old one I caught most of the fluid and before dumping it into the new tank I made sure the level was where it should have been on the stock one, even added some more for lose of fluid down below.

Since you're focused on it, you should refresh the fluid.

Get a battery "turkey baster" from the parts store. Suck out the old stuff, and replace with a good full synthetic ATF 4, I think? Check me on that one.

Do that every day or 25 miles, 4-5 times.

This guy is right, you need to bleed the system of the air just like any other fluid system. reccomended way is have front wheels off the ground, turn wheel L to R (lock to lock) while topping of fluid as needed. do until whine goes away. you will always have a little whine when you hit the locks. if you dont do this you can seriously damage the power steering pump.
