Default How to / Custom Fuel Door Fabrication

Hello Everyone,

I am hoping anyone could help me out to solve this...
I had recent purchased my vehicle from original owner of this Beautiful Nissan 2006 Fairlady Z... It already has the VeilSide Version 3 Wide Body Full Kit Replica Kit Installed. Its black on black. The owner didn't hinge the fuel door properly... the hinge was broken however, During Fill Up.. (Of course there is a button inside the car to open the Fuel Door) it just comes right off entirely. When done filling up, I would have to place the Fuel Door in place lined up with Rear Flares Fenders etc... to snap on. Anyway...

Here is my additional story:

During driving through the night in my city (Vancouver BC Canada) I had realized that there were rough pavement / road; however I wasn't going that fast just about 30 miles joy ride AND when I got home I found out my Fuel Door was missing. Went back the next morning and I couldn't find it on the road. Total loss for me. So now I have this Massive Hole lol... Driving my car with no Fuel Door.

I went to a Car Autobody Shop, and asked them IF they could make me a Custom Fuel Door Fabrication or something... they didn't know what I was thinking etc... They told me I have to purchase the original OEM Version Fuel Door from Nissan Dealer in which I did, in the next couple of days later.. they tried to put the fuel in place however, it couldn't open properly.

Does anyone know how to Bend the original Fuel Door to somehow or exactly match my car??? instead of buying another new kit from again from the manufacturer.

Tips or Ways?

I heard Filler Bondo Work... does this work?

and Cut the handle off and put a hinge again the wide fender?

I want to get an idea so I could tell my body shop in how to pursue it.

AND last but not least... tips on how to repair my front fenders ( from daily wear and tear ) came with the car like that.

Regarding the fender...
You would need some damn good fiberglass work to repair them and go through the whole paint process of coarse.
