Hi Guys. I have an 06 auto with 56k on it. Recently while driving the car starts to shudder and the engine revs go crazy, jumping up and down between 1 and 3k. Then when I get to a red light the car will just die on me. Turning her back on is usually not a problem but getting her to stay running is. This last time I managed to (slowly) get it back to the house but I think my power steering has gone, at the least it has stiffened up. So now the car is sitting in my driveway waiting to go to the dealership tomorrow Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

you list out so many things... could be just MAF but then power steering? i have no idea why all that would go at once..

 

Check the drive belts...
