Dreaded P2A03 and P0430. Help?
So I'll start by saying I had no problems with a check engine light or 02 sensors before I worked on my clutch. After I replaced my clutch I can't get rid of the P2A03 (Bank 2 Sensor 1. Circuit out of range). I also since replacing my clutch I have a pending code of P0430 (Catalytic efficiency bank 2). I hooked my car up to a scanner and ran live data and while idling one 02 sensor is reading .900 volts and the other is reading .460 volts. They move around a bit while I rev but not an insane amount. I have replaced both 02 sensors and the codes still come back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm tired of throwing money and racking my brain on this one.
I also got the p0430 code a couple says ago.. Wondering if this is normal in z's? I'm going to the dealer tomorrow morning to see if it's something that can possibly replaced under the emissions warranty.
What year is your Z? Nissan provides an 8 year/80k mile warranty on emissions. If yours applies maybe try that?

all they saaid is that they need to diagnose it. (which is $130) but if it is, in fact, a problem that is covered by warranty (emissions system) then i pay nothing at all. if its something not under warranty then all i pay is the 130 for the diagnosis.
i will let you know what else, if anything, comes up when i pickup my car later .
Well I may have a vacuum leak. I hear it around the pcv valve in the head. When I pull the vacuum line from the pcv the hissing stops. Any help with that? I feel like it may be tied into this problem
That would explain a little bit of the lean, but it shouldn't have anything to do with the clutch change.
I've seen the O2 sensor codes pop up from leaky header/cat joints, usually with aftermarket test pipes but if you removed the exhaust for the job it could be leaking there. It tends to suck in fresh air at idle and set lean codes.
