Default Accelerator pedal positon sensor question. HELP!

Hi guys, question for you.

I recently got a code for APP sensor trouble. When the code first popped up the car went into "limp mode", got code checked and turns out to be my accelerator position sensor ( thank god its not serious). So i unhooked the sensor on top of gas pedal cleaned the harness cleared the code and that lasted for about 3 months no problem. I go to start my car after work and boom SEL and into "linp mode". Luckily i work next to auto store so i had them run the code. APP sensor again. So now i kbow it must be going bad. Now my question is this.

I have been searching for the part i need and it seems i can only find the whole gas pedal setup, cant find just the sensor new. And seeing as i have the Track model it has the upgraded pedals and cheapest one i can find is $220. If i can find just the sensor can i change it out? Seems simple, 2 bolts, or is there a reason why i cant find just the sensor bc its calibrated somehow from the factory and i cant change just the sensor?

Also, i have found that the G35 pedal and sensor same year as my Z are a tad bit cheaper. Could i use a G35 pedal and sensor in my car? Or is it a different part/sensor? They look identical.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks fellow Zed heads!

This might help:

$142 seems pretty reasonable.

Thanks for the link! It appears this part fits all years/models of the Z minus the base model. Prob bc base has the generic pedals. Now i have to find out if its the same sensor that comes on the G35, If so i found the sensor on ebay for $35. Hmmmm

Im debating wether i should just order the sensor i found for the G35 and change it out n see, worst case i lose 35 bucks. Im pretty sure it is the same sensor/part. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks again!
