Default Throttle body disassembly

I've been chasing high idle issues with my Z and just ordered a replacement throttle body after going through every recommended troubleshooting step I could find. Once I have the replacement installed, I thought I might drill out the rivets on the suspected-broken unit to see what might be wrong with it.

Some backstory on mine:
1. P0507 High idle code
2. Idle is generally around 1300-1600
3. RPMs seem to hang ever so slightly between shifts
4. TPS is logging the idle throttle position to be 3.9%
5. Relearn procedure will bring the engine to a healthy 850rpm (commanded via Osiris) with the TPS reading 2.7%
6. Relearn info is "forgotten" upon shutdown; idle returns to ~1500

I know these are now being "remanufactured" so there is certainly something here that can be repaired/replaced to fix these. My goal is to determine what is wearing out, see if it can be fixed without specialized tooling, and see if a lasting solution can be found.

Has anyone taken one of these apart before? I've been searching everywhere and haven't been able to find a teardown thread. Does anyone know with certainty exactly what piece in here is failing? I assume there are two TPS's, one 0-5v and one which is nearly the inverse, a two-wire servo, and a spring to close the plate. If it hasn't been documented elsewhere I'll be sure to take pictures of the entire process.

Good luck.
I've never taken one apart. However,I've got a Mines throttle body on my Z.
There was a write up&pics on the Mines website on mods they did to the throttle body.
I'm not sure that changing the throttle body will fix your problem.
The throttle body is not a very complex part. There can be wear in the butterfly area.
So much of what happens is controlled by sensors.

Please let us know.
Thanks

Some pics in there.

It is super easy to take apart and put back together.

you are correct on the pins. 6 of them. The motor is just a DC motor with some gearing. It has 2 wires that the ecu can swap directions by swapping voltage potentials. Twin 0-5v pots that are inversed.

large metal gear slides out.
3 Phillips heads get the motor out
13mm and crescent wrench for the shaft nut (may be 12 or 14mm cannot remember)
Phillips head to get throttle plate out
The only tricky part is the spring pre load. Black plastic slides up/off shaft. I believe i left the shaft in place.
