Powdercoated Throttle body to match IC pipes, refresh
If your throttle body was like mine, it was dirty, dingy and just outright ugly.
An example:
That is what mine looked like. After 8 years of service, it was looking far from new. It has always been an eyesore.
Before:
Dis-assembly is not too bad. You have to drill out 4 rivets. Then pop out a sprocket, undo 3 bolts holding the motor in and remove the motor. (1) 12mm bolt removes the rest of the assembly.
Powdercoated but not put back together:
Powdercoated and put back together:
Wasnt too bad to put back together, took about 15 minutes.
Installed:
Also did my treadstone maf adapter and redid the upper ic pipe

Oh damn I didn't see the maf housing in your build thread today. That looks awesome too.
I was messing around and test fit my Greddy intake pipe today, the black maf housing looks horrible!

Not only does it look horrible, it is a huge failure point. The coupler has nothing to really grip onto and can pop off. Mine popped off in traffic on a 6 lane highway during 5'oclock traffic. FML. I had to replace it.
I even made a thread about it https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...-and-tube.html

Looking to build my own oven to do larger items.
Got a CNC machine coming next week.........more fun projects.
Want to pick up anodizing or hydrodipping as well.

any issues from the TB after reassembly?
Funky Idle?
Have to do the "Relearn" procedures after reassembly?
Got a couple TB's lying around and have been meaning to try this out prior to powdercoating.....
Also, did you media blast the TB prior to PCing?
If so, what type of media? [exp: glass bead, sand, metal particulates, etc...]
