Question Drive shaft doesn't fit???

Gang,

Going out of my fkn mind. Drop'd the engine/tranny on my 05 AT and now I can't get the drive shaft back on the diff.

Very slight possibility I accidently swapped it for my 03 MT drive shaft but same part number according to Courtesy. I've burned days trying different ways to get it in. Any advice?

is it a length issue of mm or inches? Can the engine move forward some?

I thought automatic transmissions required the drive shaft to stay in else fluid would come out?

Are you sure the slip yoke is going in as far as it used to? Maybe there's a foreign object inside the slip yoke.

It's flush on the tranny side so not an issue there

So is it an issue of a mm or two or an Inch or two?

you don't have a go drive shift on a 350z right?
