Default 03-09 Transmissions

Clutch is about to go out in my '03 and given the existing synchro grinding issues many have had I'm opting for a rebuilt.

However I can't seem to find any definitive info on which transmissions had the synchro issue - Like the model or if its a certain serial#

I asked my tech to find me a tranny for an '09, assuming of course that it will fit without issue.

Can anyone tell me definitively which transmissions have issues and any identifying information on which one I should have them replace it with?

Thanks, I've seen that a few times before, is this just a model#? I assume it's also stamped alongside the casing?

Ugh you mean 2008 tranny? As in the last year of the 350z? CD009.

It's not bullet proof though

Isn't the bell housing or something on the HR different than on the DEs? I was trying to look it up and even in the link just posted for the cd009 from z1 motorsports it says it fits 03-06. That's what I based my information on. I could be wrong though, of course.

I'm pretty sure... if you look in the "maintenance section" someone literally JUST asked this question, and we pointed them in the right direction.
