Default Differential leaking from Stub shafts

Hi guys,

Just wanted to check in and see if anyone has some input on this issue. My differential is leaking fluid at a very slow rate from the stub shafts. Its obvious as a large area of the underside is stained with fluid diff. No drips accumulate on the ground below. I'm assuming there are seals on the shafts that need maintenance. If this is the case, is it worth saving the money on a used diff and replacing these seals? Or should I just go ahead and search for a low mileage pumpkin? I love excuses to do mods, i.e. 3.7 gears Thanks in advance for any knowledge. Searching only yielded results on the typical rear sub-frame bushing leak.

The first thing you should do is check the differential vent and make sure it's not clogged.

I recently installed a Nismo diff cover along with a brand new breather tube. Could the rubber hose clog somewhere?

Maybe it's kinked? Sounds like a breather issue to me since a double or triple seal failure isn't likely.
