Default Window Regulator Help!

I recently took my Z to the shop and after receiving an estimate for $60 to install my window regulator as I already had them putting parts on my car for me the guy said it would cost more like 100-150 to install instead of 60 due to the fact the car has an auto-seal feature which I am well aware of as I have taken my door panel off to install a new window motor a couple times. It's -10 degrees outside so I decided to just get shop to do it and for the right price. He said the reason for the increase is because of reprogramming the door and timing , because the window is unaligned... duh the window motor is off and i have the window being held up with clamps to keep it some what sealed.

Now the shop has been straight forward with me so far and have trust in them that they are not trying to screw me over by the way they have been putting the car together so far, but as far as I knew once the window regulator goes in the glass gets dropped in and the motor reinstalled all you need to do is recalibrate the window with the window door switches. i.e hold the button all the way up for 10 secs to reset the window. Now my question is are they trying to get me for another $100 for something that takes 3 seconds.

I could be wrong, but that was the impression I was under. Anyone with experience or knowledge on this subject. Any knowledge of this matter is highly appreciated. And trust me guys and gals I would rather do it all myself, but it's pretty darn cold in Indiana this year and the snow has been ferocious. Not to mention college and work take up a lot of time.

Thanks for looking and helping I really appreciate it.

It takes 1 minute to "reprogram" the motor. You can do it yourself without any experience. They want extra money for not much effort or time.

Lol he called me at 8:30 am to tell me it would cost 150$ and i said look man as far as I know all you do is swap the regulator out drop the glass in and install the motor and use the door switches to reprogram which takes 10 seconds. He paused said gimme a minute and then came back and said yeah we can do it for about 85$ which i got a quote else where that i told them about for 80$ and i was like listen man you got the part and the car 5$ wont break me just put it in.

I didn't even read your response and i called it. Sucks too cause they were being real trustworthy up front and seeking my approval before doing everything and then they try and take me for another 70$. Knowledge is power.

Thanks for help anyways tho it just adds to the fact that I was right. Helps to know what your talking about. Saves money and time.
