Default Idiotic LA drivers -___- possible damage to frame?

Well I was going to work this morning and some idiot cut me off, my choices were either rear end his *** to make him learn a lesson or swerve to the right. Well I chose to swerve but at the last second I saw the road was shitty I didn't think my car would scrape so I just went. It's not too low it's dropped on tanabe springs I think like an inch I forgot. Well as she was going over I heard a thumping sound from the bottom so I went to the shop in front of my work right away got the car lifted and saw there were scrapes on the bolt by where the sub frame brace connects. The guy said there aren't any damage but he didn't look to see if there was any bend or anything. I took it to two other shops they didn't have time to lift the car up and said it will be fine. What do you guys think??

Well technically if you rear ended his car it would be your fault so you wouldn't have taught him anything.

What you should of done is use the PIT maneuver!

On a srs note, it makes me livid when people cut me off. I usually return the favor a few hundred yards later.

Welp, since he saw the undercarriage and I didn't, I'm gonna go with his advice or go have it looked at by someone who actually looks at the whole scenario. I'm guessing you'll be fine unless you bounced over something while you were traversing the rough roads of a cut off driver.

Why is this even a thread? OP, don't be an idiot and rear end someone and if you're worried about underneath take it somewhere. How can we tell you if you'll be fine? No pictures or anything.

With the kind of photos usually posted on this board it's still hard to tell if there's any damage. If the OP is that concerned about whether there's some serious damage to the undercarriage, he'll need to have it put on a frame machine. It'll cost some bucks to have it measured, but it's the only way to know for sure.

As for the subframe mount that got scraped, put a little black rustoleum on it and replace the bolt if you need to. Most Z owners don't care and know it takes more than what you've described to seriously damage our cars.
