someone needs to email this thread, or better yet SNAIL mail this to NNA. Their customer service sucks and this thread proves it. Maybe these dealers will realize they are selling 350zs and not sentras

Douglas Nissan of Orange, S. CA
Took delivery of my Enthu last December 03 and was promised free first oil change. Another forum member drove me there that night and knew about this deal.
Visited the dealership to get my 1st oil change and was asked to pay.
Talked to the guy who sold me the car and still thought that I should get it. Customer service stepped in and presented the case to managers. Managers says that I still have to pay and never acknowledge that I was promised something. Dealership saved $40 and lost a customer.
How low can they go? No big deal so I never bothered to contest their decision and promptly left. I have tons of dealership scam experience but I never thought they would go as low as $40. My salesman lied to me and managers just let it be.
Lesson: Unless it is written, they won't honor it.

Took the Z in today to Tracy Nissan for the TSB involving the shifting seat problem. When I made the appointment a week ago, the service manager didn't acknowledge the TSB; he only asked when would I like to bring in the car?
So, when I arrive I give the service manager the TSB number--still, he says nothing. An hour later, he comes out to the lounge to tell me he has to order parts to fix my seat. WHAT?!?!?!
Then he says the car was just washed and he'll bring it right out. When did I ever say I wanted the car washed? Uhh, I hope they took the bra off when they washed it. NOPE!!! What MORONS!!!!
Nissan--are you getting ALL of this? M-O-R-O-N-S!!!
Yea, let me make an appointment to bring my car down at 7:30 in the morning for a TSB that the service manager knows nothing about (but had a week to learn about it), wait an hour to be told parts need to be ordered but for my inconvenience I get a car wash with the nose bra still attached, that I never asked for!
Unbelievable!

Re: Douglas Nissan of Orange, S. CA
Douglas Nissan is refusing to fix my front tires/alignment on my 2003 Z. I may try to go the dealerships in Costa Mesa or Huntington Beach Instead.
thanks for the info

Wow. This was a kicka$$ idea for a thread. this thing needs to go on like the primetime news or something, get folks' attention.
After readins some of your horror stories, i guess mine will seem small, but here goes: first off, mad crazy silly props to Petro Automotive in Hattiesburg, MS. I bought my last two cars there, and would strongly consider going BACK TO MS from NC when the time comes to get a new car just to be able to do business with a dealer i trust again. I bought both my cars from the same sales guy, Gary, who consistantly stayed in touch with me for OVER THREE YEARS to ensure that i was happy with my service. I knew all their service folks by name. Every time my car went onto the lift, i was right under it with the mechanic the whole time, and they never had a problem with it, even though i'm sure there's got to be some technical insurance liability issue there. If i called them with a question, they called back with an answer. If i had a problem, they fixed it. Mad crazy silly props.
So anyway, i got spoiled. Then i came to Fayetteville, NC and Stewart Nissan, where if i want the right oil put in my car i have to bring it in myself, since all they carry is 10W30 ("oh, but don't worry about your warantee"). I also have issues with a dealer who keeps their sales open on saturday, but not their service department. If you're going to sell me a car on saturday, you have better be willing to change that car's oil on saturday too. About the only good things i've got to say so far is that their parts department's been pretty friendly and helpful.
So there's my .02. Yay Petro. Boo Stewart.

i think i already voted but here we go again: MAROONE NISSAN OF KENDALL -- service manager Al Sosa is the biggest headache and the type of person that gives nissan a bad name.
At this point i'm on my 4th set of tires and 4th replacement tranny. i've gotten this work done from various service departments in miami but this MAROONE OF KENDALL, unfortunately is the closest to my house. Service manager Al Sosa won't honor any tire work done or tranny complaints. he just says "all sport cars feather". even after i've shown him the TSB sent out on april 12 he won't do any "free work"(he calls it) only oil changes. i have complained to nissan and my arbitration specialist, but i figure that it is in my favor now that my arbitration hearing is in a months time it probably gives me an airtight claim to the lemon law. WISH ME LUCK AND NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO MAROONE OF KENDALL (located in south miami)

Stone Mountain Nissan in Georgia.
What a scam. Even after I mentioned a bulletin for the torn seat, they could not find it. I was told it is normal.
After alignment was done the toe is still not within specification. Wasted an hour and a half for nothing.
