Need help * Code P0300,P1800* Check it out please*
I'm getting a P0300 and P1800 code FLASHING. The SES Light flash only. It didn’t stay on in the dash, it flash only. Car runs like sh*t. Anyone have any additional troubleshooting ideas?
Here's the sequence of events:
1) Removed intake
2) cleaned TB
3) Removed spark plugs and replaced them
4) Did a compression check ~180 on all cylinders
I replace all 6 coils because of code P0300 but didn’t change anything
5) Installed plugs
6) installed intake
7) started up and ran like a charm immediately
10) took a quick drive and got the P0300 and 1800 code with noticeable power loss. Like if it runs on 5 cylinders....
+) Checked for vacuum leaks - OK
15) took a drive and same P0300 and P1800
I replaced the VIAS solenoid but still got the P0300 and P1800 flasing SES light.
Sometimes the car drives like it should be like a charm but i notice that if the car is cold first time i start it in the day, i get the flashing ses light code P0300 and P1800.
Every time I take it for a drive I reset the codes. Shortly down the road the check engine light blinks but then disappears when I idle. The FSM says this is caused by excessive fuel going to the CAT. Also, if I reset the codes and just let it idle for about 10 minutes no new codes will come up.
I've ZERO engine mods to speak of.
