fuel level sensor is bad in my 04 350z. i just replaced the basket on the passenger side so im sure it is good, the driver side float comes in on Wednesday, so i went out and used a multimeter on the one that has not been replaced, and got 43ohms on the empty level, and 1 ohm on the full level, does anyone know what the range should be? and then if it does not fix it, what should be my next step?

 

Find the wire thats connecting in the plug at top of tank that goes to fuel sending unit. ground just that wire and your fuel gauge should peg maxed if gauge is working properly.
