Knock Sensor Harness OHMs
So maybe this forum will provide some help since i provide it regularly but rarely get it in return.
Testing the senor, 560k ohm and in spec for FSM.
Tested ECM Pin 15 to ground with no sensor...open. Good.
Tested ECM Pin 15 to ground with sensor...less that 560k ohm but not by much
Tested PIN 2 of harness (light blue clip that mounts on the rear coolant pipe) and it wasnt a short to ground but wasnt open.
The FSM is very vague about this part...schematic shows going to gnd in several places but my multimeer shows a large resistance.
Anyone else ever tested their harness pin 2 to ground? Result

Yeah that is the goal.
The patch harness is fine for pin to pin.
Rechecked the main harness with the ecu unplugged.
pin 2 is direct to ground as it should be. (pin ref may ne backwards since I am looking at fsu and right where the two light blue connectors are) and pin 1 which I believe goes to the white wire pin 15 on the ecu measures in the mega ohm range. continuity exists but very large resistance.
I am on solid motor mounts, built motor and aftermarket clutch. previous "tuner" said the engine was noisy so I am checking the knock circuit for issues.
