Issue bleeding clutch motive way
So I followed the guide to setup up clutch bleeding with the motive bleeder using a wildwood reservoir. I was trying to bleed it but had a lot of difficulty. The first issue was I put some fluid in the motive pumped it up and opened the valve and nothing happened; I pumped the clutch a couple of times and it finally started flowing. I bled it for a while and bubbles would slow down so I shut the valve pumped the clutch a bit and re opened it and more bubbles would flow out; this process continued for a very long time as the bubbles never stopped. I finally gave up and called it a quits after using almost a liter of ATE brake fluid which I'm sure is way too much. As of now the clutch is definitely not fully disengaging and I'm at a loss. Could someone please explain their appropriate procedure for bleeding like I'm a 5 year old, or maybe I'm simply doing something wrong. I did have the catch bottle on the ground which I later found was bad, could this be the cause?
