Headlights Alignment Part Missing
Purchased my 05 350z 35th Anniversary Edition about 3-4 months back for a value of $12.9G from a Private Seller @40,000 mileage.
She wasn't bad until I drove her around a couple of times and saw/heard some issues.
One of them is the headlights were dimmed so I ordered new HID headlights from here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00480J4KA?pc_redir=1403880045&robot_redir=1
Long story short. I personally was removing the whole front bumper just to get the whole headlights detached from the vehicle (I know there is an easier way to change them but I figured I had time on hand and decided to undo the front bumper to see any other issues).
Problem is when I was about to change the HID headlights I noticed INSIDE the headlights there was like... A long piece of paper clip holding in with a screw the alignment of the bulb. It's not meant to be there, it also had some type of sticky residue holding paper clip to the bulb holder to actually hold it in place when you screw the paper clip in.
And it was the same for the other side.
A temporary "fix" what I did was I immediately removed the paper clips from both sides and just electric taped the crap out of the bulb holder for both sides.
Now it's been a couple of days and the alignment is all messed up and I have to use high beams to see the road.
My question is. What part is that, or what is it called? Because I'm not replacing the whole headlights just for that one part.
Basically after you replace the bulb there's nothing to hold it in, I can't describe it, it's just the part where it holds the bulb, you take a screw and it holds everything in place, is missing.
Is it possible to buy this part separately from a junk yard or online or would I have to replace the whole headlights?

Dealer said that part can't be bought separately. He showed me a broken down blueprint of the headlights and it wasn't on there.
To be more specific I believe the item is called "headlamp clip" or "headlight retainer"
I might as well get halo headlights from here.
