1s gear shifts hard
Alright guys, I just got my 2008 350z 6-speed not too long ago, IDK but shifting into 1st gear feels kinda hard, not firm and smooth like the rest of the gears. Can this be a transmission issue? Any help and feedback would be nice.
I don't think this is a problem. I assume you mean shifting into first from neutral. First is always a little more difficult to shift into. Unless it's grinding, I doubt there is a problem.
Yea basically what Korner said...
If you are talking about when the car is rolling or moving, in that case you should not be going into first gear unless the car is stopped

Quickly put it into netural, clutch out, clutch in, then shift into first. Its called double clutching.
If you have a quick foot you can do it on any downshift...not really necessary anymore unless youre driving an old semi but still a useful technique to learn. Especially if one of your synchros go it can help you get the car into gear.
